Jenkins was taken to the emergency room, checked over and released. He is expected to miss three weeks of play.
Then, in a final blow, offensive standout Greg Bright discovered over the weekend that his wrist hurt because it was broken. Bright will also be out for two weeks.
Coach Logan pulled forward Mike Leake up from JV to fill in ^or Bright and he may start in the Panther’s home game on Friday. The dynamic duo of Bright and Gary Leake again shared scoring and rebounding honors with 16 points and five rebounds apiece.
