The Government recommended that the legislature consider passing a law requiring a two-thirds vote on taxing measures instead of passing a tax limitation bill. I am committed to the tax limitation aspect to insure a low growth in state government. What with automation and computers all over Richmond I can understand why the present growth has not been as great but I believe we can do more.
Mr. Dalton is proposing a SI 1.5 billion dollar budget and we all have been given a copy. I am happy to report that Germanna Community College got its increase based on the increased enrollment. I hope next week to see about restoring the positions they are trying to cut out.
