of ski instruction from professionals and spend the rest of the day practising learned skills. Attendance at scheduled lessons is mandatory to ensure that students learn fundamentals on how to ski safely.
Instruction includes a combination of the GLM (Graduated Length Method) and French techniques. While GLM uses varying length skis to enhance learning, the French method emphasizes natural body positions and muscle reaction for maneuvers.
All students participating receive a membership badge designed by students Eric Viafore and John Landis in a school-wide competition earlier in the season.
