There will be a hymn singing at the Mt. Salem Baptist Church near Washington on Sunday. September 21, beginning at 2 p.m. Any and all groups are invited to participate and the public is welcome.

Mr. and Mrs. Huey Atkins of Sperryville announce the birth of a daughter, Julie Faye, on September 6, 1980, at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Grandparents of the infant are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Alther and Mr. and Mrs. Ebb Atkins, all of Sperryville. Mrs. Virgie Pullen of Sperryville is her greatgrandmother.
