Dennis Reunion
The 21st annual reunion of the Dennis family took place Sunday. August 24 at the home of the Rev. W. B. Dennis at Slate Mills.
A special service was held at noon in memory of the eight deceased members of the family: Guthrie Beddingfield who died of a heart attack February 10 and those lost in a tragic fire April 12 of this year, including Jim and Gloria O’Steen, Ginger Wease. Kenny and Jim Wease and Mr. and Mrs. Ragland.
About 95 family and friends reunited at the Dennis home, with the host qualifying at 91 years as the oldest and Patrick Walker of Dale City, 4 months old, the youngest participant. Coming the farthest were Mr. and Mrs. Robert M. Brown, Tim. Amanda and Suzanne of Langhorne. Pa.
