Halloween costumes follow fads, and judging by the masks and disguises on display at the local five and dime stores, monsters are the “in” thing this season.
Youngsters who buy readymade costumes run the risk of meeting their double at the neighborhood party or while making the trick-or-treat rounds. Besides, it’s more fun—and cheaper—to watch a Wolfman, Bride of Frankenstein or Blacula come to life in front of the bathroom mirror.
