In Rappahannock, the News poll was conducted by high school students except in the Washington-Flint Hill area which was surveyed by Rappahannock News staff.
Numbers are selected at random from the telephone directory. Only responses from registered voters who said that they planned to vote in the November 3 elections were tabulated.

For election day, Tuesday, November 3, all county and state offices will be closed. In addition, the Rappahannock National Bank in Washington will be closed.
Post offices, Farmers and Merchants Bank in Flint Hill, most county businesses ' and the Rappahannock News will observe normal hours of operation.
