At the opposite end of the spectrum, not a single one of the registered voters surveyed in the Woodville-Sperryville area was undecided by Monday night. Judging by the poll results, they’re party minded in that southwestern portion of the county; everyone surveyed voted a straight ticket with the split in each race 80 percent Republican and 20 percent Democratic.

The combined results of polls taken by Arundel newspapers in Loudoun, Fauquier, Clarke and Rappahannock counties and the Reston-Herndon area show Robb, Miller and Durrette ahead.

In Clarke County, which Guest has represented for ten years in the General Assembly, he leads Catron, 47, to 18 percent, with 35 percent of the voters surveyed still undecided.
