Latham SCOTT CHAMBERLAIN of Amissville was named 1981 volunteer of the year by the Rappahannock Fire and Rescue Association at the January dinner meeting of the organization. Scott, a junior fire and rescue squadsman. and a senior at Tailpeper County High School, received the award from a recommendation by personnel of the Amissville Fire Department and Rescue Squad, of which he is a member. He was cited for his 200 hours of state accredited training, his willingness to accept duty and responsibility, his eager response to any and all situations, his obvious intensions and enthusiasm for this work. He is a state trained EMT-A. Scott is the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Chamberlain.
