Same Problem
Jimmy Swindler reported that the western end ot the counts has been faced this season with the same problems as the Castleton area. Most of the illegal hunters around Sperrvville come from out of the county, particularly from Page County, he said. "They hunt on ntv property and try to tell me it s the national forest!" he told the supervisors. Swindler suggested that the supervisors lobby the Virginia Game Commission to have a two week hunting season for both buck and doe established statewide. "That will solve a lot of the problem."
