If healih department requirements for sanitary facilities are met, operation of a school with limited enrollment in the church building will not affect adversely the character of the neighborhood. Neither will it affect adversely the health and safety of persons residing or working in the area or the property values of homes in the neighborhood.
Unfortunately, Massanova is the focus of considerable bad feelings engendered by its association with a church campground located nearby. We hope opponents of the campground won t be influenced by that earlier battle.
What happened in the past is over and done with. The campground was an incompatible use but it was eventually approved as the result of a series of errors on the part of local government officials.
The church school doesn't fall into that category. We hope it will be welcomed by the citizens living on Aaron Mountain now that zoning , requirements have been met.
