Field Corn Hybrids - Th» results of the 1981 Virginia Corn Performance Trials have been tabulated and are available for farmers to use as a guide for selecting high performing hybrids to plant this spring. Included in this report are the corn variety test results from nine different stations scattered throughout the State of Virginia. Information on each variety tested includes yield in bushels-acre, harvest moisture, percent stalks erect and days to silk. Also included on most varieties are two and three year performance averages.
Graduated
Bill Scoggin graduated from Virginia Polytechnic Institute & State University in Blacksburg on December 17, 1981, earning a bachelor’s degree in Animal Science. He is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Harold Scoggin of Washington, and a 1975 graduate of Rappahannock County High School.
