The Virginia Point To Point Advisory Council, consisting of representatives of the nine host hunts for the Virginia race meets, held its annual meeting recently in Middleburg.
The Advisory Couhcil sponsors year-end awards f-r Horse of the Year, Gentl ment Rider, Lady Rider ana Leading Race Mare. In addition, the Virginia Point To Point Circuit is highlighted by the Seven Corners Series for ownerriders over timber and the First Colony Life Insurance Series for owner-riders over hurdles, as well as the Col. Harry Ruhsam Challenge Plate for leadership in old fashioned point-to-points.
