Leake Herbert Vernon Leake. 63. of Brandy Station, formerly of Sperryville. died Friday. January 8. 1982 in Culpeper Memorial Hospital. Graveside services were conducted Sunday at the Sperryville Cemetery by the Rev. Kirby Shenk. Leake was a native of Rappahannock County and the son of the late Herbert and Eugie Woodward Leake. Survivors include a sister. Mrs. Finton Holemead Rooney of Savage. Md. and two brothers. Charles Lonnie Leake and Roy B.
