County accountant Wally C ox told the supervisors that budget work must begin earlier this year in order to provide additional time for advertising which will probably be required by the new assessment. He said that if the supervisors set a tax rate that will yield a levy of more than one percent over the previous year, they must advertise the rate for four weeks rather than the standard two weeks.
He suggested that the board ask all agencies to have budget requests for ldH2 tSf in bv April 1. He
