“Will you move the trailer off the property when you’re finished?" asked Bird.

"Fast—yes," Estes replied, adding that they planned to sell the unit when the tenant house was renovated.

The BZA voted unanimously to issue the permit pending title transfer on the five acres and completion of the septic system now being installed. In addition, the board required a $5,(XX) bond to ensure the trailer is removed at the end of the permit period.

Car Sales Permit

The board also granted Jon B. Morgan a special use permit to buy and sell antique cars as part of a business known as Millwood Antique Car Gallery.

Morgan is limited to having five antique or collector cars for sale at a time and all vehicles must be housed. He said that he currently has bays for 22 cars and conceivably will get a building permit at some point in the future to put in another set of garages.

Morgan noted that he's been storing cars on his property on Route 522 near Woodville for some time and plans no change in his operation but needs the special use permit in order to acquire dealer's license and tags from the state.

"I strongly urge that you grant the special use permit," said Kilpatrick, a resident of the Woodville area.

He told the BZA that the garages are not visible from the road at all and described Morgan's home—which was on the 1%0 county house tour—as "a beautiful asset to the community” and Morgan himself as "a marvelous asset to the community."
