Buying a home is a family decision. For this reason, it's desirable that house-hunting be done by husband and wife wherever possible. However, in the case where a move over a considerable distance is involved, the best arrangement is for either the husband or the wife to look separately and then for both to get together to make the final decisionmaking inspection.
