buildings and a tenant house. Even the tenant house contains no measurements or per square foot value, and no site value has been assessed for it. Yet this house, along with another outbuilding on the Williams farm, has housed Mexican farm workers who work the Williams orchards, and has always been used for farm help since 1 have been in Rappahannock. They are easily seen from my farm. Why would the Williams tenant houses be exempt from the site assessment requirement? What confidence can one have in a Board that permits such omissions on its own properties?
To summarize the net equalizations for all five members of the Board of Equalization — all were reductions in assessments: Chairman Barksdale $44,360; Eileen Day $47,800; T. V. Williams - $34,400; Ed Bailey - $21,800; and Raymond Johnson - $2,700.
