Most Dig. round Dales are hauled off the hay field and yarded somewhere convenient for feeding next winter. Be sure the place you select to place these bales has excellent drainage, so water does not run under them. Spoilage occurs from rain on the top of the bales and from ground w,ater on the bottom. Be sure to place bales so they do not touch each other.
