NAA CP Banquet
The Rappahannock NAACP Branch banquet will be held Saturday. June 19, 9 at 6 p.m. at the First Baptist Church dining hall in Washington. Annual Picnic Planned
The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Association will hold its annual Sunday school picnic on Saturday, June 12. at Mountain Run Lake in Culpeper from noon until 4 p.m.
Each Sunday school is urged to bring as many pupils as possible as well as picnic lunches will be combined with those brought by other schools. Activities planned lor the afternoon include softball, volleyball, horseshoes and other games.
Sunday School Meeting Set
The Wayland Blue Ridge Baptist Sunday School Union will hold its 251 st quarterly session with the Upper Zion Baptist Church at Jeffersonton on Sunday. June 13. at noon. The junior officers will be in charge of the session.
Open House For Nurses
Nurses in the area are invited to an open house on Sunday. June 13. from 1-5 p.m. at Primavera, a treatment center for ambulatory, self-care alcoholics in a 28 day program. The families of the late Charles Lewis and Bessie Jenkins Burke will have their annual reunion Sunday, June 13. beginning at 10 a.m. at the Rappahannock Recreation Center near Washington. Friends and family members are urg-d to attend. Lunch will be served at 12:30.
