A sharply divided board of supervisors moved Monday toward guaranteeing $105,000 for final design plans on Sperrvville's sewer system.
By a three-two vote, the Rappahannock board authorized commonwealth's attorney Douglas Baumgardner to draw up a resolution setting out terms of an agreement between the county and its Water and Sewer Authority to borrow the funds until anticipated grant money becomes available this fall.
In a second split vote, the board added the $105,000 expenditure as a line item to the proposed 1982-83 budget.
