(1916 times $32 equal $61,300). Since that is to cover three floors, or certainly two floors, then the square foot value on the Barksdale house amounts to onc-half to one-third of $32. or between $10 and $16. This is fair market value — or even 70 percent of it. in 1982?
Moreover, the Barksdale tenant house slides by without the prescribed house site assessment. Possibly this is because all buildings occupy one acre. But the ivory tusk grasper might argue that the entire site was made more valuable by having so many , improvements on it. In fact, many properties contain higher site assessments for the principal house, and many if not most tenant houses were on $4500-sites.
