“There’s not a lot of money available for the state as a whole through this vear’s block grant program but the county and the Rappahannock Water and Sewer Authority have got a lot going for them in comparison with other Virginia projects." said Capelle in a telephone interview on Tuesday.
"It looks like a very good project." he said of Sperryville's sewage treatment system. “It will rank very high on both the regional and state level but an awful lot depends on local support. The better you can package the application for block grant funds (a task Capelle and his planning district staff are undertaking for the WSA) and the more local support you can generate, the better the odds for securing block grant funding."
