GOING BAREFOOT
How often we see people walking barefoot in the streets, on gravel paths and on grass If this a healthy practice? Not really. The obvious reasons are cuts and splinters,, or stepping on a piece of metal that is rusty. There are other not so obvious reasons.
Number one, our feet and the outer covering of the skin are not constructed to withstand the strain of manmade dangers Prehistoric man did not have to contend with manmade substances such as glass and steel. Besides this fact there are other hidden dangers. A small foreign body in the skin can induce the formation of a type of cyst to keep it apart from the body tissues A seveie blow to certain areas between the toes can lead to the formation of a sensory nerve tumor. Remember your feet must last a lifetime.
