"We’re 90 percent sure we’ll get EPA and block grant funds." WSA chairman Carson Johnson reported to the supervisors on Monday. “We're asking the supervisors to guarantee payment out of county funds or to allow the Water and Sewer Authority to borrow the money until we get the grants."
(Both grants are expected to be awarded in early fall. Buchart - Horn's engineers must begin work on final design specifications in early June, however, to have plans finished by EPA’s September 1 submission deadline for FY 1983.)
