The second big project already underway is “ Friendship Follie,” scheduled for October 16 at the high school. Under the direction of Bernice Pearson, the Fauquier County 4-H preforming arts group. The Young Dominion, will work with Rappahanock youngsters in seventh through 12th grades all day long on that Saturday, culminating in an evening show for the public. The program w ill feature all kinds of popular music, including country and gospel, with lots ot singing and dancing.
The Boosters are also looking for adults to take part in "Friendship Follies." The grown-ups need only to commit themselves to an hour’s rehearsal on Friday and the evening performance on Saturday, according to Dennis. Anyone interested in participating should contact Dawn Fisher, club chairman for the event, at 675-3428.
Money raised by the Follies will go towards buying much needed equipment for the RCHS science department, Dennis noted.
