Whatever the answer, local people will be particularly interested in the program which will be presented by the Rappahannock County Library on Thursday, September 23, at 7:30 p.m. The director of the Thunderbird Excavation program and president of the Thunderbird Research Corporation, Dr. William M. Gardiner, will give a talk and slide show. After his presentation, he will also examine local finds brought for identification.
In a talk entitled “The Pre-history of Rappahannock County as seen from the Other Side of the Blue Ridge,” Dr. Gardiner will trace almost 12,000 years of area history for his audience.
