A day at the Culpeper Animal Shelter begins early when the cages are swept and cleaned, the animals are fed, and individual needs are attended to. At 11:00 the doors open for new- arrivals. Through these doors in the past years have come hosts of dogs and cats, pigeons, chickens, guinea pigs, ducks, rats, quirrels. skunks, owls, gerbils and horses.
