Lynn Lillard of Alexandria spent a few days last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Hickerson. Dinner guests last Wednesday in the Hickerson home were Mrs. Catherine Lillard of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Roy Lillard of Etlan.

Mrs. Grady Vest and Crystal and Curtis Foster of Boston visited Mr. and Mrs. James Nicholson and Mrs. Florence Weakley at Strasburg on Monday. The Nicholsons and Mrs. Weakley have moved from Front Royal to Strasburg. Mr. and Mrs. Russell Nicholson and Shane of Cedarville spent the weekend in the Grady Vest home.

Mr. and Mrs. Judd Darnell of Jefferson were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Warren Presgraves.

Mr. and Mrs. Moe Walker spent their vacation in Pennsylvania and visited Mr. and Mrs. Bill Nuckols at Shady Side, Md. Miss Joyce Walker and Tiny Brugh of Arlington spent Sunday with Miss Walker’s parents.

The Flint Hill Ladies Auxiliary met at the fire hall on Monday evening for their regular meeting with sixteen members present.

Mrs. Mary Blaisdell was a dinner guest last Wednesday of Mr. and Mrs. John W. Blaisdell Jr. at Middletown.

Mrs. W. A. Moore with Mr. and Mrs. Vernon MacTurk, Noel Ward and Tracey Nicewarner of Front Royal spent the Labor Day weekend at their cottage on the Chesapeake Bay.

Mr. and Mrs. Stan Sandowski of Norfolk spent the weekend with the latter’s mother, Mrs. Ethel Pullen. On Sunday a cookout was held at the Larry Welch home with Mrs. Pullen, the Sandowskis, Mrs. Kathleen Nicholson, Mrs. Thelma Jeffries, Mr. and Mrs. Timmy Jeffries, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Pullen and children, Bryant Welch, Holly Holbick, Karen Corder and Brad Alt her, all of Front Royal. Mr. and Mrs. Steve Welch of Washington and Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Pullen of Virginia Beach.

Mrs. Myrtle Smoot returned to the home of Mr. and Mrs. A. O. Smoot last Tuesday after spending a week with Mr. and Mrs. William Smoot and Lisa at Culpeper. She was accompanied home by Mrs. William Smoot.

Mrs. Christine Vest and Mr. and Mrs. Michael Vest and Leigh of Virginia Beach were dinner guests last Wednesday of Mrs. Helen Wright at Woodstock.
