Mr. and Mrs. David Bates were hosts for the family gathering at their home. "Range View" on Sunday. Members of the family attending were Dr. and Mrs. H. C. Bates Jr. and Robert of Roanoke, Dr. and Mrs. H. C. Bates III, Susan and Allen of Washington. D. C. and Richard Bates of Cockevsville, Md.
Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Fincham and Peggy and Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Cave and Tonya visited Monticello in Charlottesville on Saturday. They were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Fincham in Culpeper.
The Rev. and Mrs. Cecil Carder of King of Prussia, Pa. spent last weekend with Mrs. Carder’s mother, Mrs. F.rtha Hawkins and visited other members of their families here.
Mr. and Mrs. Frank Duncan and Mrs. Cary Thornhill attended the funeral of Fred Duncan in Warrenton on Wednesday.
