of fine woodworking. Chappell said that the addition of this course to a curriculum of other vocational courses offered at the high school might fulfill a vocational education graduate requirement in addition to offering this skill to college bound seniors.
Computer Concepts
The course as outlined by Chappell would be a halfyear, single-period course. It will introduce data processing and provide some degree of computer literacy to students. Chappell said that while initially the enrollment will be limited to seniors, the course might be used as an exploratory course for freshmen and sophomores considering further training at Piedmont in data processing. Chappell said that the course might not be offered, however, if more students don’t show an interest.
