Jackie Estes, a member of the rescue squad, ran to the car and began resuscitation.
“She started breathing again immediately,” said Roach. “Jackie pulled her from the car and, in the next few minutes, revived her twice more as her breathing stopped.”
Roach called the Flint Hill ambulance, a full medic unit, to transport her to the hospital. Hearing the call on their monitors, Flint Hill cardiac technicians Frankie Huff and Sherry Hamill, who were already in town, ran to the site to assist in the resuscitation effort.
