tomey Douglas Baumgardner again presented the supervisors with the option of dance hall ordinance, a solution to Smoot’s problems that the board has considered— and rejected—previously. Baumgardner explained that restrictions on noise levels and hours of operation would apply to all dance halls in the county, including dances held by the volunteer fire departments, and once again, the supervisors voted unanimously to drop the idea of a dance hall ordinance.
