The Rappahanm, k News welcomes its new editor, Jon Klaverkamp, a native of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

An honors graduate of Boston University in 1982, Klaverkamp received a degree in B.U.’s joint concentration Philosophy and Political Science Program.

Since graduating, Klaverkamp has worked primarily in New York City, first at Random House, Inc. as an assistant in the Subsidiary Rights Department, then at Time, Inc. as secretary to the Director of Corporate Cultural Affairs.

Klaverkamp is the son of Paul H. Klaverkamp, Jr. and Sharon C. Klaverkamp of Minneapolis. He has one sister, Lisa Ryan, lb !ng in Minneapolis; and two brothers, Joel Klaverkamp, living in Washington, D.C.; and Greg Klaverkamp, attending school in Wisconsin.

Klaverkamp enjoys creative writing, reading, and athletics. He says he is looking forward to meeting people and getting to know the county.
