Russell Joseph Whorton, 65, of Bealeton, died Dec. 26 at Oak Springs Nursing Home.
Mr. Whorton is survived by two sons, Russell Lee Whorton, Bealeton, and Ralph Whorton, Dumfries, two daughters, Melissa Whorton, Rectortown, and Mary Whorton, Broad Run, a brother Ira Whorton, Bealeton, and three sisters, Mrs. Virginia Burke, The Plains, Mrs. Mollie Elliott, Amissville, and Mrs. Lena Rains, Mineral.
Graveside services were conducted Dec. 28 at the Amissville Baptist Church cemetery by Rev. Clyde R. Woodard.
