Any individual, arts organization, public or private organization having made significant contributions to the Arts in the Commonwealth is eligible. Native Virginians working outside the Commonwealth, whose work is enjoyed by the people of the state, are eligible. One or more nominations may be made by anyone in the Commonwealth and will be solicited from a broad constituency.
