Radford University’s Scholars Program is offering academic scholarships ranging from $500 to $4,000 to freshmen and transfer students entering in the fall of 1985.
To qualify for the program high school students must rank in the top 10 percent of their high school graduating class or have SAT scores totaling 1200. Students transfering from a community college or other .fouryear institution will be chosen on the basis of their previous college records.
Application deadline is h eh. 1, and winners will be announced in March.
The Scholars Program is funded through Radford University’s Foundation with monies from the United Virginia Bank in Radford; the estate of Dr. M Ledge Moffett. Radford's first dean of wotnen; the Presidential Scholarship Fund; and gifts from alumni, friends, parents, corporations and businesses.
