Germanna Accepting Applications

For Nursing Program Applications are now being accepted for the Germanna Community College Nursing Program which will begin in June, 1985. The application deadline is February 1. The Nursing Program at Germanna is a two year, full time day program, which prepares graduates to qualify to take the State Board of Nursing Examination for Registered Nurse Licensure. Graduates from Germanna Community College Nursing Program receive an Associate in Science degree with a major in nursing. For further information, please contact the Admissions Office at Germanna. Ski Trip To Massanutten Planned Fauquier County Parks and Recreation is sponsoring a night skiing trip by chartered bus to Massanutten near Harrisonburg on Friday, February 1. The bus will leave from Fauquier High School at 4:30 p.m. and will return to Fauquier High at approximately 1:30 a.m. Ski equipment and rentals and lessons are available. Cost of the trip is as follows: bus and lift ticket, $18; bus, lift ticket and equipment rentals, $25 and bus, lift ticket, equipment rentals and lesson, $35. Only 38 spaces are remaining. Agricultural Regional Conference Scheduled A regional conference on Agricultural Policy, the 1985 farm bill, is scheduled for Tuesday, March 5 at the Holiday Inn in Culpeper. This conference is for an audience of farmers, agribusiness managers and leaders of farm organizations and agricultural agencies. However, any interested person may attend.
