Five cases were decided Tuesday in a short session of General District Court. George Edward Caison pled guilty to driving while intoxicated, and Judge John Alexander fined Caison $200 plus $20 costs and suspended his operator’s license for three years.
In view of Caison’s attempts to get substance abuse help, Judge Alexander suspended the fine and two years of the license suspension. Caison will be issued a restricted license for traveling to and from work and to ASAP appointments when he enrolls in the ASAP program. Judge Alexander told Caison that he must not violate any traffic laws for three years, and that he should participate enthusiastically in the ASAP program.
