Charles David Smoot, 43, of Boston died Friday, January 18 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
Funeral services were conducted on Monday at Clore Funeral Home Chapel by the Rev. Robert Rooper. Burial was at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, Jeffersonton.
Mr. Smoot was employed by the American Security Council Foundation at Boston.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Jenkins Smoot of Boston; three daughters, Tammy A. Smoot, Shawna Smoot and Thelma Smoot, all of Boston and a son, John David Smoot of Culpeper; two sisters, Ann Dodson of Culpeper and Esther Smoot of Staunton and a brother, William Smoot of Sperryville.
Pallbearers were Joe Rutherford, Dan Wilkerson, Kevin Keys, Wayne Balden, Ed Baker and D. Franklin Gordon.
