On another matter, there was considerable discussion by the BZA and affected neighbors of William Remington’s request for a special use permit to build a single family dwelling on 56.83 acres that already has an existing tenant house occupied'by^_caretakerrThe property is located at the intersection of Routes 628 and 663, in Flint Hill.

Mr. Remington’s neighbors who were present at the BZA meeting said they had not been aware that the Planning Commission would consider Mr. Remington’s request at its meeting December 18. At that time, the Planning Commission recommended that Mr. Remington’s request be approved, provided the proposed dwelling be situated in a location near the one penned on the site plan, to allow for possible subdivision of the property into two lots with at least 25 acres per house. Mr. Remington has no plans at the present time for subdivision.

Elsie Dodson testified that the right of way onto;which Mr. Remington has bulldozed his new driveway was given to her family in 1948, since their property did not have access to a public roacf.* Mrs. Dodson said that her parents were given some land and the right of way
