Pullen to instruct
EMT classes ■* Ken Pullen will instruct Emergency Medical Techniciaii' (EMT)' classes, at the Flint Hill fire station -/on Mondays and Tuesdays beginning in January. Classes will be held at 7 p.m. The EMT classes lead to certification; after completing the classes, a test is required to be certified by the Virginia Department of Health. Classes scheduled are January 6 — Introduction to Emergency Care - Legal Aspects. January 9 — Anatomy and Physiology - Terminology. January 13 — Airway Obstruction and Respiratory Arrest. Janaury 16 — Cardiac Arrest. January 23 — Practical Use of Airway Adjuncts. January 27 — Patient Assessment.
January 30 — Bleeding and Shock.
