Parks and Recreation plans trips The Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department has winter trips planned to the Capitals/Islanders game on January 24 and the Ice Capades on February 15. Ski trips are planned to Massanutten on January 18 and an overnight trip to Ski Liberty on February 7 and 8. Trips are planned to see the Treasure Houses of Britain exhibit March 8, to the new Patriot Center in Fairfax to see the Harlem Globetrotters on March 14 and to “Banjo Dancing” at Arena Stage on March 22. Registration deadline for ski trip The registration deadline is January 10 for the next Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Departrrfent sponsored trip, a one-day ski trip to Massanutten Village in Virginia’s own beautiful Shenandoah Valley. The trip is planned for Saturday, January 18.
