In memory of Rev. Edward T. Wines, who passed away March 10,1986. MY PAPA My poem is about my Papa's story, He devoted his life to preach God's glory; He brought his children up in a Christian way, For someday they might meet God on that glorious day; Papa had a dream that really came true, When he was ordained in July of 1972; He was given a Bible when he was ordained, Which he geve to Mark to cherish the same; "Preach My Word”, God said to him, "And tell my sheep to turn from their sin"; But many a night he lost much sleep; His heart was burdened for all . the lost sheep; Papa had many a dream, you see, One was to see his children heading heavenly. The other dream was as clear as sand, That his grandchildren would hold toGoashand. God called him home on March 10,1986, He would have no more pain and no longer be sick. Because Papa prayed for me with his heart and soul, I’ll make seeing him in heaven MY #1 GOAL! Written by your grandson, Harry Uoyd In memory of Rev. Edward T. Wines, who passed away March 10,1986. We loved him dearly while here on earth But he has left us for a better place, He still lives on in another dawn. Beyond all sorrow, fear, and pain Safely at home beyond life's quest, Living and moving among the blest. We are comforted, now, with this thought each day He is not dead...he is just away. His wife, Mazie Children, Betty, Audrey, Sandra, Randy & Debbie In memory of Rev. Edward T. Wines, who passed away March 10,1986. MY DAD I am so glad God gave me i my Dad, i Tokweroaadbeipjflwvfhenii : « I was bad; • He taught me about Jesub and how He will save, And if I accept Him a new home I can have; There were times when trials seem too heavy to bare, But I knew if I called he would always be there; The days ahead have been very sad, Since I have lost my Number One Dad; He left me with memories of joy and love, And the assurance someday I will meet him above.
