The Rappahannock County
Board of Supervisors met Friday at the courthouse for the regular March meeting. A request was submitted to the Board for the placing of a mobile home in the Peola Mills area. Since the Rappahannock zoning ordinances do not allow the placing of a trailer or a mobile home anywhere except in a designated trailer court, the only action which would be taken was to refer this to the Planning Commission.
Sp4 Abraham Burke of Washington, Va. leaves Friday for Fort Hood, Texas, where he will be stationed for the remainder of his two years service. Having completed overseas duty, which took him to Hawaii, Okinawa, Japan, and combat duty in Viet Nam, he has been home on a forty-five day furlough.

bagged two bobcats Tuesday in Gid Brown Hollow near his home. The large one weighed about 18 pounds and could down “a good size animal,” according to Beahm, who lives near the Park’s edge.
