PROPOSED HIGHWAY PROJECT
ROUTE 211 - RAPPAHANNOCK COUNTY
Representatives of the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT) will hold a Location and Design Public Hearing on Thursday July 21, 1988, at 7:00 p.m. at the Rappahannock Elementary School located on Route 636, just south of Route 211, in Rappahannock County.
VDOT representatives will also be presented at the Hearing site on Wednesday, July 20, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., for an informal review of available information by interested citizens. All interested persons are encouraged to review the proposal prior to the formal hearing.
The purpose of this Public Hearing will be to consider the proposed location and design of Route 211 from 0.47 mile east of the intersection of Route 522 to 2.29 miles east of the Covington River in Rappahannock County.
At this location and design public hearing, relocation assistance programs and tenative schedules for right of way acquisition and construction will also be discussed.
All interested parlies are urged to attend and give the Department their comments and suggestions relative to the proposed hiqhwav improvement.
Maps, drawings, an environmental assessment, and other information are available for public review in Department of Transportation s District Office located on Business Route 15, just south of Route 3, in Culpeper, and its Residency Office located on Business Route 29 at the South Corporate Limits of Warrenton.
Written statements and other exhibits relative to the proposed project may by presented in place of, or in addition to, oral statements 8-1 ® ”ear'n9- Such written statements and exhibits may also be submitted to the Department at any time within ten days after the public hearing.
