DULLES — Lt. Gov. Donald S. Beyer is slated to head a commission on economic recovery created by the Virginia General Assembly this week.
In an interview with Arundel Newspapers Friday, Feb. 15, Beyer said that he is funneling his energy into efforts to jump-start the state’s j economy through the new commission and by promoting Virginia as a leader in technology.
“I really see most of my agenda for ’91 being caught up in trying to develop a very aggressive plan for economic recovery that we can implement through the course of this year and into the ’92 General Assembly session,” said Beyer.
