Mary Seabaugh
Mary Bowen Seabaugh, 79, of Front Royal died Wednesday, Feb. 13 at the Warren Memorial Hospital.
A graveside service was conducted Saturday, Feb. 16 at Fairview Cemetery in Culpeper by the Rev. Jerry Young.
Mrs. Seabaugh was bom Nov. 13, 1911 in Rappahannock County, the daughter of the late Jasper and Pearl Stringfellow Yowell. She was a member of Wood lawn United Methodist Church in Culpeper and attended Rivermont Baptist Church in Front Royal. She was the wife of the late Virgil Seabaugh.
Surviving are five sons, George E. Bowen and Cecil Seabaugh, both of Front Royal, James W. Bowen of Falls Church, Dallas W. Bowen of Wingina and William D. Spicer of Edgewater, Md.; two daughters, Virginia Deal of Culpeper and Nancy Franklin of Covington; two sisters, Myrtle Leake and Georgia Weaver, both of Culpeper; 15 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Geest-Johnson Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
Bertha Dodson
Mrs. Bertha Margaret Dodson, 89, of Castleton died on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 1991 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Walker and Frances Nicholson Dodson, and the widow of Joseph Dodson.
She was a member of Beech Spring Regular Baptist Church near Sperryville. She was a farmer and homemaker.
She is survived by three sons, Marvin Dodson of Castleton, Glen Dodson of Kokomo, Ind. and Calvin Dodson of Stafford; three grandchildren; five great-grandchildren and a sister, Fleda Everhart pf Martinsburg, W.Va.
