Charles Gore
Charles Ashby Gore, 92, of Reva died Thursday, Feb. 14, 1991 at his residence.
Mr. Gore was bom Jan. 29, 1899 in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Absalom Byrd Gore and Nannie Maude Spicer.
He was a retired farmer and mail carrier, a member of Bethel Baptist Church and Sunday School treasiirer.
Survivors include a brother, Clarence Gore of Reva; three sisters, Miss Sara Adeline Gore, Miss Nannie Maude Gore and Mrs. Gladys Gore Carpenter, all of Reva and a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Gore was predeceased by four brothers, Willie Gore, Edward Gore, Albert Gore and Walter Gore.
Funeral services were held Sunday, Feb. 17 at Bethel Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Huneycutt officiating. Interment was in Bethel Baptist Church cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Bethel Baptist Church or Culpeper Rescue Squad.

William Scott Jr.
William Oliver Scott Jr., 79, of Amissville died Saturday, Feb. 16, 1991 at Grace Jefferson Adult Day Center in Richmond.
Mr. Scott Jr. was bom March 19, 1911 in Jefferson County, Indiana. He was a machinist and had served with the U.S. Navy. His wife, Bernice Elizabeth Scott predeceased him.
Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lee Raimond of Harlingen, Texas and Mrs. Lawra Jackson of Madison, Indiana.
Funeral services were held on Tuesday, Feb. 19 at Amissville United Methodist Church by the Rev. Peter Weems. Burial was at Amissville Methodist Church cemetery.
