On the wettest days, some appear to be at the point of overflowing and gushing out into the fields, but, by the next day, have settled comfortably back into their respective boundaries. While the landscape has responded to the excessive wet spell with outrageous growth, creating a wild and wooly look to the countryside, the cows look fairly miserable, yet are undaunted in their constant quest for food.
Clotheslines remain in use regardless of the ongoing onslaught of wet — a thankless endeavor no doubt for those who must depend on the sun for this particular and neccessary aspect of everyday living.
